Concrete
Concrete Driveways, Sidewalks & Slabs
Driveways, walkways, patios, slabs, and foundations — installed level, finished clean, and built to hold up through Carolina freeze-thaw cycles.
Concrete is the most-installed and most-screwed-up material in residential construction. The mistakes — wrong base prep, wrong mix for the weather, control joints in the wrong places, finishing too early or too late — don't show on day one. They show in year three, when cracks open up and there's nothing to do but tear it out.
We do it right the first time. That means proper sub-base, the right mix design for the project and the season, control joints planned before the pour, and finishing on the right cure schedule.
We've poured everything from a residential driveway to a sidewalk for a Mecklenburg County middle school connecting the building to the sports fields. Same crew, same standards.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked
How long does new concrete take to cure before I can use it?
Foot traffic in 24–48 hours, vehicle traffic in 7 days, full design strength at about 28 days. We'll give you a specific timeline based on the weather and the job at the time of the pour.
Can you remove old concrete and pour new?
Yes — full removal, hauling, sub-base prep, and new pour. We handle the whole process so you're not coordinating between contractors.
Do you do commercial or public-works concrete?
Yes. We've done sidewalks for a Mecklenburg County middle school connecting the school building to its sports fields. We have the crew size and equipment for larger pours without losing residential-level finish quality.
Will my concrete crack?
All concrete cracks. The question is whether it cracks where you planned it to (at control joints) or somewhere ugly. Proper sub-base, mix, joint placement, and cure get you the planned cracking that's invisible. Skipping any of those gets you the random cracking you see on bad driveways.
